The PXL-500 is a flexible and practical access control system capable of expanding from 1 to 256 doors as required.
The unique design allows each door to hold a complete user list and buffer the last 3600 events. This ensures reliable operations in the event
of a communications failure, resulting in a truly stable and reliable access control system.
Installation engineers will appreciate the simple LED display addressing system and the onboard diagnostics. A 5 year lithium battery ensures a non-volatile memory in the event of a power failure.
With practicality in mind, Keri Systems now supplies the PXL-500 two door kit, which includes the PXL-500, a SB-593 satellite board, two proximity readers, steal cabinet with lock and software. The SB-593 is an additional PCB designed exclusively for use with the PXL-500 access control system. By adding a single SB-593 on to a PXL-500 controller, the user gains additional programmable inputs and output and expands the number of doors by one.
Keri’s Wireless 485 Transceivers allow you to easily create a wireless communication network between Controllers (an RS-485 network). Just as in wired controller networks, the 485
Transceiver works on systems as simple as two
or three doors, all the way up to a 256 door
systems, and in distances of up to 1.5Km between
controllers when using long-range antennas.
Standard units have a nominal range of 150m.

Using a single LAN-520 per controller, you can connect some or all your PXL-500's on a TCP/IP network . Combined with the NC-485, slave controllers can now be connected over Ethernet rather then RS-485. Add value to your existing network structure by saving on cabling costs and maximizing your network potential. Avoid digging trenches, cutting up driveways and foot paths.
